Wharton 5K Run to Benefit the School District of Philadelphia

Wendell Pritchett, Interim President, and Erika James, Wharton School Dean, attended the kick-off the 10th Annual Wharton 5K Run.

The Wharton Council and the Wharton Roadrunners, in benefit of The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia, presented the 10th Annual Wharton 5K, Penn’s largest 5K event.  The main goal of the Wharton 5K is to bring together students, staff, and community members to give back to the Philadelphia community through a great cause: The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization that aims to connect donations to strategic priorities that have a measurable impact on the success of local Philadelphia students regardless of zip code, family income, or chance.
